Welcome to the Aegis Defender Discord Bot ("the Bot"). By inviting the Bot to your Discord server or interacting with it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please remove the Bot from your server and cease all interactions with it immediately.

You agree NOT to use the Bot to:

  • Abuse: Reverse engineer, exploit, or intentionally crash the Bot.

  • Spam: Flood the Bot with automated commands or use it to spam other users.

  • Violate Privacy: Use the Bot to collect user data maliciously or without proper authorization.

  • Illegal Activity: Facilitate or promote any illegal acts, harassment, or hate speech.

3. Data Collection and Privacy

  • Data Gathered: The Bot may process and store limited data (e.g., Discord User IDs, Server IDs, and command logs) to function correctly.

  • Third Parties: We do not sell or share your data with outside entities.

  • Data Deletion: You can request the permanent removal of your data by joining our support server or contacting us directly. (For complete details, please read our Privacy Policy).

  • AI Training: Data collected though this Bot will NOT be used for training any AI and we do not consent for the Bot to be used in AI training. Using the Bot in AI training is a violation of these Terms.

4. Service Availability and Termination

  • "As-Is" Basis: The Bot is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind.

  • Downtime: We do not guarantee 100% uptime and are not responsible for data loss caused by unexpected hosting outages.

  • Access Revocation: We reserve the right to block individual users or entire Discord servers from using the Bot for violating these Terms.

5. Premium Functions

  • Features: This Bot does NOT offer any Premium benefits.

  • Payments: This Bot is supported though voluntary one-off donations and monthly support though Pally and Patreon, all purchases are processed through the payment methods provided by those services.

  • Supporter: Being a Pally or Patreon supporter does not unlock any benefits for this Bot.

  • Refunds: Refunds must be done though the providers listed above. If an attempt is made and is not granted by Pally or Patreon, refunds are granted solely at our discretion unless required by local law.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Liability: In no event shall the Bot developers or owners be held liable for any damages, losses, or server disruptions arising from the use or inability to use the Bot.
